We are Happy to Welcome Rev. Patricia Zogar
as Our Part-Time Minister
Unity Spiritual Centre is happy to announce that we have a new part-time minister; Rev. Patricia Zogar, who officially started as our Minister April 1, 2016.
Rev. Patricia was introduced to the New Thought philosophy in 1979, when she attended a wedding and a memorial service in rapid succession in a New Thought church. Although she was raised without a religious tradition, she had, since childhood, yearned for a spiritual aspect to life. Learn more

Unity Support Group for Government-Assisted Syrian Refugee Family
Fulfilling our Unity Mission Statement: “Unity of Nanaimo, mighty to attract good and radiate good to others.” Chadi, Iman and their three children enjoyed visiting Unity for coffee after a recent Sunday Service. They told friends they felt very welcome. They also appreciated the first visit from a Unity Support Group Member.
Additional Unity members and friends are most welcome to join this support group. The commitment is to provide a minimum of $5 per month for one year, payable as installments or as a lump sum, and, if possible, have some form of social interaction with the family at least three times during the year. Donations, or cheques made out to A. Harvey can be given to Angie Harvey any Sunday. End-of-the-year Charitable Donation Receipts will be available. If you are interested in joining the Unity Support Group please contact Angie Harvey at Unity on Sunday or at 250-585-7550 or by email.

An In-Depth Look at Your Life And What You Can Do About It!
Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Presented by Judith and William Munns, this workshop will give you a good understanding of how to turn the negatives in your life into positives; how to put into practice some of the “universal” laws that you have been ignoring or misusing while you have been “re-acting” through your issues, instead of “acting wisely and well!”
We’ll be using some handouts and material from a book by Bruce McArthur (based on the work of Edgar Cayce) which will give you a great overview of the laws that govern human activity — laws as real as those that govern thermodynamics, electricity, or aerodynamics! If you can find a used copy somewhere, do! And bring a highlighter and pen so you can mark it up and not feel guilty. (We will be bringing some new copies along, too, because this is a book you’ll want to keep nearby …) As usual, Network Saturday workshops are only $45 in order to make them accessible to everyone.
Followers of the Light
Second and fourth Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Please join us, and bring any interested friends and family, for an evening of healing and sharing of energy. Learn more
