The Magic of the Promise of Abundant Life
Sunday, August 2, 10:30 a.m.
Guest Speaker Judith Munns
It is based on Jesus’ promise: “I have come so that you might have life, and have it more abundantly.” There are many ways to understand this promise, but I’d like to look at it from the perspective that Abundant Life might mean that we can live our lives with freedom from “need.” (Of course, we all recognize that what we need — and what we want — are often two different things.) We’ll examine the idea that everything we NEED is given to us freely, if we stop struggling and Trust — and simply accept the abundance that flows through the Universe.
Monthly Congregational Meeting
Sunday, August 2, after the 10:30 a.m. service.
WEEKDAYS & SATURDAYS
A Course in Miracles

Reading the Course invokes within you energies that you may never have been sensitive to before.

Learn the “seated mini set” of 17 moves from the 108 Moving Mediation, in addition to exercises which stretch the back and spine to improve overall flexibility, balance, and strength. Mid Island Tai Chi Health Promotion
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1-2:30 p.m.
The Health Promotion class offers specialized instruction for people with chronic illness or those who are recovering from injury, to help them incorporate Tai-Chi practices into their promotion program. As with all Tai-Chi classes, the health promotion class is open to everyone, the prime focus being centered on the health promotion application of one’s Tai-Chi practice. The program offers an opportunity for the individual to alleviate a broad range of ailments, including those related to injury, stress, chronic and degenerative diseases. Love offering.
Gift Baskets for Our Youth Program
