Wednesday, July 2, noon2 p.m.
Everyone is  invited to attend a Freedom BBQ at Maffeo Sutton Park. Ezra Levant of the Sun News Network and John Carpay of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms will be there to celebrate an important victory for religious freedom in Canada. Nanaimo City Council rescinded a motion that would have banned Christians and “divisive” groups from renting out publicly owned facilities like the Vancouver Island Conference Centre. This BBQ celebrating religious freedom and equality for all before the law will be a fun family celebration of our constitutional freedoms in Nanaimo! Learn more

What Does God Want?
Guest Speaker Kathy Eliasen, Licensed Unity Teacher
Sunday, July 27, 10:30 a.m. Service
How many times have you uttered these words? What does God want? Have you ever found yourself at the end of a rope when finally you say, “What do you want me to do about it?” “What do I need to do to get out of this mess?” “What do I need to do to find that perfect job? Mate? Home?” “What is wrong with me?” “What am I missing here?” “What does God want from me, anyway?” Let’s explore!

Kathy’s message will be based partly on a book by Nancy Reeves, Ph.D., titled I’d Say Yes, God If I Knew What You Wanted. Let’s explore with Kathy on Sunday, July 27.
